The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services site and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Communications Specialist to join our Communications team.
This highly collaborative role will require excellent relationship-building skills, and a strong understanding of how generative AI can enhance modern communications practices.
The successful candidate will work closely with the communications team to shape an evolving approach to executive communications. They will support the development of integrated strategies that enhance clarity, consistency, and impact across internal and external audiences, while advancing how effectiveness is measured and understood.
The specialist will support experimentation with emerging tools and identify opportunities to elevate storytelling and increase agility in how content is produced and delivered.

With your demonstrated knowledge and skill, you will produce clear, engaging communications that reflect Canadian Blood Services’ objectives and consistently align with our brand and style standards.
