Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Level Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of our upcoming multiplatform comedy-focused stealth / action game. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in 3D level design, a deep understanding of puzzle and exploration game mechanics, and proficiency with the Unity game engine.

Role & Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop engaging, immersive, visually stunning 3D levels for a comedy-focused stealth / action game
  • Collaborate with the design, art, and programming teams to create cohesive and compelling scenarios and levels
  • Responsible for the concept, planning, whitebox and implementation of interactive features within the level
  • Implement level design using the Unity game engine, ensuring that levels are fun, challenging, and aligned with the game's vision.
  • Design and implement goals, side quests, funny scenarios and events within the game world.
  • Work closely with the art team to ensure visual consistency and quality in level design.
  • Playtest and iterate on level designs based on feedback from internal testing and user research.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in level design, ideally with some knowledge of 3d singleplayer action puzzle games
  • Proficiency in the Unity game engine, ProBuilder and other Unity tools.
  • Strong understanding of game mechanics, level flow, and player psychology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and critically.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of current trends in the gaming industry.
  • A good sense of humor
