Material Controller - Adhoc

Wood is recruiting a Material Controller - Offshore Adhoc (Casual / Temporary) to join its Operations team focusing on the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This opportunity is offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, working on an as needed, call-out basis.

The Role

• Location : Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador
• Site / Office based : Terra Nova FPSO
• Hours of work : 12 hours per day
• Rotation / work pattern : Call out, as needed
• Required : Site-specific medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Unionized position : Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement

As a Material Controller you will work to ensure the materials are available and accessible when required by tracking, loading, unloading, ordering, organizing, and distributing project related materials onboard the FPSO. You will work under immediate supervision, and within a team environment. You will be working in confined spaces and / or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures.
