About the Role :

Vitacore is seeking a Controller or Senior Accountant for hands-on, high ownership role, responsible for managing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting for Vitacore. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating independently, partnering closely with leadership, and supporting both day-to-day accounting and forward-looking financial analysis.

This role is ideal for someone who loves accounting, understands manufacturing environments, and is ready to take on controller-level responsibility in a growing, entrepreneurial company. To succeed in this role, you will need to love accounting, take price in accurate, well-run financials, and think beyond debits and credits to understand how the numbers support business decisions. You will enjoy owning the full accounting function and being accountable for outcomes, while being curious, proactive, and motivated to grow with the company.

Responsibilities include :

Accounting & Financial Reporting :

• Own full-cycle accounting, including AP / AR, payroll oversight, general ledger, and moth-end / year-end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance analysis and commentary.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including fixed assets and inventory.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and regulatory compliance (GST. / HST, payroll, corporate tax support).
