Description de posteAnalysis of structures, including concrete and steel, use of finite element method analyses. Working with the following codes preferred : ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual. Proficiency in the Seismic structural analyses Proficiency in LS-Dyna is a preferred Computer programing skills (e.g. Matlab, or Python) is not required, but preferred. Proficiency in concrete, steel and composite structures analysis and design P.E. (US candidates), P. Eng. (Canada candidates) certification preferred Planning and Organizing : Effectively prioritizes and plans work activities, manages personal and project timelines, and uses time efficiently to meet deadlines. Adaptability : Responds well to changing conditions, manages competing demands, and remains effective when dealing with interruptions, delays, or unexpected challenges. Dependability : Demonstrates reliability by maintaining consistent attendance, and responding constructively to feedback. Teamwork and Collaboration : Builds strong working relationships, fosters trust, and contributes to a positive and supportive team environment. Role : Senior Structural Analysis Engineer Location : REMOTE Duration : Full Time JOB DESCRIPTION : : P.E. (US candidates), P. Eng. (Canada candidates) certification preferred - Canadian citizens with P.Eng only and has Nuclear Background. Role Summary :
- Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools.
- This role requires a solid foundation in seismic engineering and finite element methods to support complex project needs in a dynamic work environment
