Employment Status : Permanent Full Time

Hours of Work : Monday‑Friday (07 : 00‑15 : 00 or 11 : 00‑19 : 00) – subject to change

Location : Humber River Health, Willson Site

Labor Group : Non‑Union

Salary Range : $100,674.05–$125,920.90

Reporting Relationship : Manager, Operating Room & Cysto Suites

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, effective, efficient and safe patient services through management of human, environmental and financial resources.
• Manage day‑to‑day Operating Room processes to meet patient needs and expectations.
• Organise and coordinate the activities of the Operating Room and related clinical areas, including nursing and ancillary staff.
• Coordinate scheduling of operating rooms and surgical cases, and daily staffing assignments for RNs, RPNs, OR Aides and Housekeeping.
• Work with the Manager and CPL to support staff development and achieve advanced clinical practice standards.
• Implement internal linkages and coordinate services in response to patient needs.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures and professional standards by all staff.
• Provide leadership and consultation for development, implementation and evaluation of projects and initiatives.
• Act as an expert resource for the clinical members of the Operating Room.
