JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Design Engineer- Electrical and I&C

Reporting to theManager, Engineering , you will provide Electrical and Electrical I&C design engineering support in collaboration with internal departments, vendors and external organizations to ensure to ensure successful project delivery.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Providing Electrical and I&C design and providing oversight of design service providers, preparation of technical specifications, design requirements, modification packages, and design calculations, as well as review of design reports as part of day-to-day duties.
• Collaborating with both OPG's internal teams and external organizations, including Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) vendors.
• Working with OPG's Construction Engineering and Project Management teams to support the execution and restart phases of the project.
• Providing procurement evaluations and active participation in various cross-functional teams to address and solve complex problems.

Providing design oversight on vendors' engineering function (in all modification phases) as part of day-to-day responsibilities.
