Construction Labourer

Wage: $20.00/hour
Vacancies: 4
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours/week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Shifts: Morning, Day, Evening

Education:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Experience:
  • 2 to less than 5 years preferred

Own Tools/Equipment:
  • Steel-toed safety boots

Installation & Specialization Areas:
  • Installation: Hardwood strip flooring
  • Area of Specialization: Structural metal or steel, siding
  • Area of Work Experience: Framing and shingling
  • Construction Specialization: Residential

Specific Skills:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Demolish buildings and clean up salvageable materials.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and debris at construction sites.
  • Operate and tend machinery/equipment used in construction.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.

Weight Handling:
