Base pay range

CA$16.10 / hr - CA$16.10 / hr

Position : Part-Time Permanent - 4 days per week - every Saturday, Sunday, plus two weekdays. Weekend availability is required.

About The Role

The Server reports to the Support Services Manager and / or designate and performs all aspects of service in the dining room, resident lounges and room service for residents, guests, and the public. The Server provides quality customer service to all persons served as relates to the culinary experience at our communities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining room for all services which includes setting tables, stocking necessary items, assisting the preparation, presentation and serving of food and beverages.
• Carries out general cleaning duties in the dining room which includes clearing and bussing tables, scrapping and at times washing dishes while following the company’s Infection Protection and Control guidelines.
• Establish and maintain an atmosphere conducive to pleasant dining by creating an environment which maintains the happiness, self-respect, general dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Promote and maintain positive communication and relationships among staff, residents and the public.
• Responsible for some or all tasks related to housekeeping and laundry duties as required.
• Attends and participates in community and education programs.
• Responds to resident and building emergencies.
• Perform other duties as required.
