As the Markets Data Lead , you will be accountable for transforming data governance practices, modernizing data infrastructure, and streamlining the Data Operating Model across Markets Business Domains.

This is a high-impact role requiring close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional partners across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Operations . The role supports delivery of Article V Consent Order commitments , operating under tight regulatory timelines and heightened scrutiny.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the definition and implementation of robust business data requirements , ensuring alignment with external regulatory commitments and internal data governance standards.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and relationship management across Markets businesses, Enterprise Data Office (EDO), Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
• Oversee the interpretation and execution of Data Governance Policy within Markets, partnering with Domain Managers and supporting teams to ensure consistent adoption.
• Manage and deliver multiple data initiatives including :
• Data requirements and documentation
• Data quality rules and controls
• Data lineage and taxonomy
• Issues management and remediation tracking
• Develop and deliver clear, concise executive-level communications , including progress updates, risk assessments, and regulatory delivery status for senior leadership, working groups, and steering committees.
• Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure timely delivery of regulatory commitments.
• Define, promote, and enforce best-in-class project management practices , breaking down complex initiatives into structured tasks with clear ownership and governance.
• Manage ad-hoc requests, shifting priorities, and evolving regulatory requirements with agility and discipline.
