Physiotherapist, Regional Pain Program (223507)

Description

Reporting to the Manager with professional and clinical support from the Manager Pain Program and working without general supervision within an inter-professional chronic disease management framework the Physiotherapist-Pain Program with the Pain Program inter-disciplinary team assesses plans implements plans and evaluates plans for patients / clients with chronic pain. Responsible for planning and implementing patient education materials and sessions referral to community resources and setting up ongoing self-management and rehabilitation plans for patients / clients.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Training And Experience

Graduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy. Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Physiotherapist. Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Two (2) years recent related experience in tertiary level care chronic pain management / rehabilitation or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
