Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President Finance and Administration, Vanguard, the Analyst, Invoicing and Costing ensures accurate and timely completion of customer invoicing and ensure accurate and timely compilation of the month end reporting requirements. Will actively participate and support UAT for on boarding new invoicing software. Provides support for interim and year-end audit work.

Schedule:Monday toFriday, 8:30pm to 5:00pm

What you will do:

• Continuous Improvement: Continually strives to improve work processes, methods, environment, customer service, personal and team performance.
• Analyze shipment transaction data, generate accurate customer billing rate and associated carrier cost using applicable customer / carrier rate tables and contract details.
• Ensure customer rate updates are implemented.
• Audit invoices for shipment validity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with customers, carriers and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
• Generate month end revenue and cost estimates
• Actively participate and support UAT for on boarding new invoicing software.
• Interim and Year End audit support – compiling selected samples for auditors
• Other duties as required

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years’ experience in Finance, Business management with an analytical focus
• Some experience in logistics required
• A business degree (MBA is considered an asset)
• Advanced MS Excel skills are required
• Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
