Position Overview:
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about STEM education? Snapology of Moncton is looking for a reliable Operations Assistant to ensure our high-tech LEGO® kits are ready for action and our school programs run smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

• Kit Management & Maintenance: Systematically sort, clean, and inventory LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 and SPIKE™ Prime sets.
• Procurement: Identify missing components and manage the ordering process for replacement parts to ensure kits remain 100% functional.
• Marketing Support: Coordinate the printing and preparation of promotional flyers and materials for upcoming after-school programs and workshops.
• Logistics: Provide reliable delivery of educational materials and kits to various school locations across the Greater Moncton Area.
• Future Growth: Shadow current instructors to learn the Snapology curriculum, with the goal of eventually leading STEAM-based classes and birthday parties.
• Material Management: Organize Snapology program materials.

Qualifications

• Extreme Organization: You find satisfaction in order and have a keen eye for small details (like finding a specific LEGO peg in a sea of bricks).
• Reliability: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for school deliveries.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using basic inventory software and online ordering platforms.
• Professionalism: Ability to act as a brand ambassador when visiting local schools and interacting with staff.
• Clearance: Must be able to provide a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• Vulnerable Sector Clearance: Clearances must be current
• Team Player: Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Professionalism: Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis

This position is part-time. Depending on candidate availability and the time of year, Operations Assistant typically work between 5-8 hours per week.
