Your Daily Contribution & Impact : Support Outbound Supervisors and team leader in daily tasks.* Research and investigate shipment variances & discrepancies.* Coordinate priority of shipments to be processed in shipping department.* Coordinate shipments, carrier equipment, carrier pick up and loading times.* Wrap, band and affix shipping labels on outgoing pallets.* Prepares labels, waybills, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and other declarations required for shipment.* Verify, communicate and keep records of all outgoing shipments.* Communication with Customer Care and Carrier dispatch.* Assist in training shipping functions to outbound associates.* Work with other Distribution Centers (DC) about orders and inventory transfers.* Operate machinery (MHE) to support shipping dock when required.* Provides advice and support to other departments on warehouse matters.* Participate in the planning of special projects to ensure the best use of the company’s resources.* Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with governmental regulations.* Identify, through a proactive approach, potential cost-saving and efficiency gain opportunities to improve overall operating metrics.* Other related tasks as assigned by Manager.
