  • Accountabilities : How You Will Make an Impact :

    Reporting to the Director Talent Management & Recruitment, the HR Specialist – Talent Management will support the Talent Management function and contribute to Kinectrics’ strategic objectives of being an employer of choice and nurturing a learning culture.

  • Support the Manager, Learning and Development in developing and delivering company-wide training and leadership and personal development e-learning initiatives, utilizing technology and adult learning best practices.
  • Consult with stakeholders to understand their training and development needs and those of their team members and deliver training solutions that serve the business.
  • Support the Learning Management System (LMS) process owners to ensure an effective, consistent, and user-friendly learning environment that supports the development and career growth of all Kinectrics employees.
  • Serve as the LMS Administrator for HR – review and manage training, qualification and system requests from users and secondary administrators, provide support as necessary, and execute changes in the LMS as required.
  • Support the Talent Management Team in designing and delivering development resources, reporting meaningful data, and taking actions to continuously improve the tools delivered for the retention, development, and inclusion of all staff.
  • Creating the frameworks to track accreditation criteria, course completion, and career paths ensuring strong attention to detail and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Create, manage, and analyze talent metrics using dashboards and reports in the LMS, Success Factors, Exit and new hire surveys, to satisfy Talent Management reporting needs (using Excel, Dashboards, and others).
  • Develop an understanding of the various business units.
  • Provide support to other functional areas in HR and assist the HR team in delivering employee-focused HR programming as required.
  • What You Need to Succeed :

    Education and Experience :

  • Successful candidates typically have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on, learning and development, talent management or organizational development.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as human resources, learning and development, or education is required.
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Principles and e-learning best practices.
  • Experience using LMS platforms to deliver learning initiatives.
  • Understanding of needs assessment, course development and evaluation is an asset.
  • Experience using Articulate or another course authoring tool is an asset.
  • Experience managing websites / intranets (Microsoft SharePoint) is an asset.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Experience using SAP SuccessFactors or BIStrainer is an asset.
