Job Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Technical Services, the Assistant Director is responsible for implementing the company’s mission, managing operations, human and financial resources. He is also responsible for supporting the team in carrying out projects by ensuring the development of competent and professional teams. This position represents the springboard to access management of the technical services department within the water treatment center of excellence.

• Follow the processes and use the tools put in place to facilitate the completion of projects;
• Identify areas for improvement and participate in their implementation in order to increase the team’s production capacity;

• Remain calm in crisis situations and make thoughtful decisions in stressful situations.

Requirements

• Have a bachelor’s degree in chemical or biotechnology engineering or the equivalent;
• Be a member of the OIQ (Order of Engineers of Quebec);
• Specialization in water treatment;
• Have more than 10 years of experience and significant management experience;
• Have experience in the mining or industrial sectors;
• Bilingualism.

Benefits

• Salary between $120,000 and $155,000 + bonus and benefits.
