Job Title: Shipper Receiver

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipper Receiver to join our 2nd facility, which specializes in aluminum products. In this role, you will support the shipping team by spotting and performing buddy lifts. While experience with a stand-up reach forklift is beneficial, it is not mandatory. You will handle long materials and complete heavy lifting tasks, often with a partner. Light cleaning duties around the warehouse will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the shipping team with spotting and buddy lifts.
• Handle and lift heavy materials, often with assistance.
• Perform light cleaning tasks around the warehouse.
• Assist in loading products.
• Engage in general labor tasks including shipping and receiving.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Capability in heavy lifting (50lbs and up with team lifts).
• Experience in an industrial warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift certification is a nice-to-have.
• Experience with pallet jacks and combi lifts is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a small facility located in the SE, dedicated to distributing aluminum products. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Orientation begins at 8 AM on your first day. This is a short-term 3 WEEK position with potential for extension. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, will be provided. The facility is transit accessible.
