Position Overview :

Our client is a fast growing engineering firm. They are looking to add an Electrical Designer to their team. This role offers challenges and opportunities for growth within a fast-growing company, focusing on institutional, commercial, and residential building projects.

Further Responsibilities Include the Following :

  • Provide electrical designs and electrical calculations for buildings such as lighting, fire alarms, cable tray layouts and emergency power systems.
  • Manage project schedules and resources.
  • Coordinate with other electrical team members.
  • Mentor junior engineers.
  • Utilize AutoCAD.
  • Conduct electrical studies, create conceptual designs, and oversee design implementation.

Ideal Candidate Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the building industry, specifically on institutional, commercial, and residential projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate technical competency, safety leadership, and sustainability understanding.
  • Experience as a representative of the owner’s team or an EPCM contractor on building projects.
  • Proficiency in collaborative teamwork and effective prioritization of activities to achieve project goals.
