Job Description

• Responsible for developing and supporting transportation system layouts

• Contribute to the efficiency, reliability, and functionality of transportation solutions

• Work closely with cross-functional engineering and project teams

• Create complete 2D layouts according to mechanical architecture

• Perform preliminary 3D allocations for system architecture

• Develop detailed designs using CATIA V5

• Perform mechanical design activities, including equipment mounting, bracketing, welding, and bolted assemblies

• Support gauge and weight studies

• Collaborate with General Studies domain peers

• Work closely with Engineering Design and Project/Platform teams

• Ensure high-quality deliverables within established timelines

Qualifications

• CATIA V5 proficiency for detailed design work

• Advanced Technician Certificate or equivalent qualification

• Basic knowledge of 2D and 3D design tools

• Familiarity with mechanical architecture and system layouts

• Ability to support gauge and weight analysis

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic environment
