My client is a leading Town planning consultancy dedicated to creating vibrant and sustainable communities across Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Their team of passionate professionals works collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative planning solutions that enhance quality of life and promote economic prosperity.

As they continue to expand their presence in Bristol, they are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Town Planner to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic planning policies and initiatives.
• Conduct research and analysis on urban development trends, demographic data, and environmental factors to inform planning decisions.
• Prepare and review planning applications, development proposals, and environmental impact assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead community engagement activities, including public consultations, workshops, and stakeholder meetings, to gather input and feedback on planning projects.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on planning policy matters, including land use, transportation, housing, and environmental sustainability.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that development projects are designed and executed in compliance with planning regulations and best practices.
• Stay abreast of legislative changes, emerging trends, and best practices in urban planning to inform decision-making and strategy development.

The ideal candidate will have an RTPI degree in Town Planning or related. My client is also offering flexible working and excellent career progression opportunities.
