Contract Network Specialist

Contract – 12 months

Our CLIENT based in Brampton and an Employer of Choice in the region is looking for a Contract Network Specialist with at least 3-5 years of work experience in the IT networking function with the following qualifications and tasks :

• A working knowledge of Cisco Nexus / Catalyst switches and routers, as well as all newer Cisco devices, is a must.
• A working knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols is a must.
• Documenting reports using Word and Visio, CAB submissions using ServiceNow, and creation of MOPs, etc., are typical requirements.
• Use of network monitoring software like SolarWinds and Logi Monitor.
• NXOS and IOS software upgrades to network devices and systems, as well as supporting other network technicians as needed.
• Other duties as deemed necessary, as outlined in the position description.
