We are currently looking to grow our highly respected Legal Research Group in Toronto by adding a junior member to learn and grow with the team. Our Legal Research Group provides bespoke solutions to complex issues on a variety of files, including "bet the farm" litigation matters and novel transactions. Our lawyers work as a team with a focus on highly sophisticated legal analysis and strategy and act as trusted advisors to clients and other lawyers at the firm across a broad range of practice areas and industries. This is a dynamic and fast-paced practice with exposure to some of the most interesting and complex files and transactions across the country. We are currently seeking to add to the existing strength of our team by bringing in a Junior-Level Associate ( to years) with an interest in strategic legal research.

The ideal candidates will possess an or JD degree and will also have :

  • the requisite number of post-call years of experience (as outlined above);
  • private practice experience with exposure to corporate / commercial law (or equivalent in-house or regulatory body experience);
  • excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and a passion for challenging legal matters;
  • a demonstrated ability to be a strategic and creative thinker; and
  • exceptional client service, teamwork and interpersonal & communication skills.
