We're looking for a skilled Electrician to work as part of our team to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in a manufacturing environment. This individual will have the ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to provide troubleshooting and repair services. The Industrial Electrician will also routinely perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and components to ensure the continued safe, efficient and effective operations of all equipment and fixtures utilized by the organization.

Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipmentRead and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) specificationsDiagnose electrical faults and determine root causes using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipmentPerform preventative maintenance through routine inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and componentsTest electrical systems and verify continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixturesMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date maintenance, inspection, and repair recordsSupport plant electrical upgrades, shutdowns, and continuous improvement initiativesProvide guidance, training, and technical support to apprentices and junior electricians as requiredEnsure all work is performed in compliance with organizational policies, provincial regulations, and federal safety standardsFollow all lockout / tagout, energized work, and site‑specific safety proceduresPerform other electrical or maintenance‑related duties as required to support operationsOther duties as required.Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician; manufacturing or industrial facility experience preferredJourneyperson Electrician Certificate requiredRed Seal Endorsement strongly preferredDemonstrated experience with preventative and corrective maintenance programsStrong electrical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work independently in a fast‑paced industrial environmentStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse workforceEffective verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentationKnowledge of safe operating procedures and applicable electrical codes and standardsSelf‑motivated, adaptable, and able to perform under pressureBasic computer skills for maintenance systems, documentation, and reportingPhysical Demands
