You as a Business Development and Marketing Manager will :
Marketing & Brand Management
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives that support business development goals
- Develop and refine corporate marketing materials, including brochures, and presentations
- Manage project photography, award submissions, and marketing collateral
- Ensure brand consistency across all communications and proposals
- Support public relations efforts, including press releases and industry publications
- Create advertising graphics and marketing collateral for various industry publications
Business Development
Participate in the implementation of creative business development strategies for the BC region.Assist in identifying, tracking, and qualifying new opportunities (RFQs, RFPs, tenders)Maintain and analyze opportunity pipelines and market intelligenceSupport relationship-building efforts with clients, consultants, developers, and industry partnersCoordinate client meetings, site visits, and industry eventsStakeholder Engagement & Communications
Support client / partner / subcontractor communications, announcements, and relationship-management initiativesAssist with planning and execution of events, trade shows, and sponsorshipsTrack client interactions and pursuits using CRM systemsCollect and analyze feedback from clients and internal teams to improve future pursuitsProposals & Pursuits
Support the pursuits team with preparation of RFQs, RFPs, and qualifications submissionsCoordinate proposal schedules, content development, and internal reviewsDevelop compelling written content, resumes, project sheets, and case studiesCollaborate with project teams to capture lessons learned and differentiatorsEnsure submissions meet client requirements, branding standards, and deadlinesStrategy, Reporting & Collaboration
Work with area leadership to align marketing and BD efforts with company growth strategyMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and sector performanceTrack and report on pursuit performance, win rates, and marketing effectivenessCollaborate with operations, estimating, and project teams to ensure aligned messagingIs this the right role for you?
You have five to ten years of professional work experience managing proposal teams or an equivalent combination of technical training and experienceYou have a Degree or Diploma in Commerce / Marketing / Communications, or an equivalent background in marketing, communication or project managementYou have strong understanding and ability to implementing and managing effective marketing tools and strategiesYou have srong understanding of construction procurement processes and delivery models (e.g., DBB, DB, P3, CM)
You have excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills
You have experience with CRM and proposal management tools
You have excellent written communication skills
You are proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, Bluebeam PDF editor and CAD
