The Opportunity

The Resident Care Attendant reports to the Executive Director or the Director of Care. They ensure and support the implementation and evaluation of the resident care services in accordance with applicable provincial standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that the highest standard of resident care is delivered and maintained at all times.

What you’ll do

• Assists residents with activities of daily living and delivers personal care services in a manner that promotes choice, involvement, and participation to the greatest degree possible.
• Assists delivery of meals, housekeeping, laundry, and therapeutic recreation programs.
• Be resident-centered in your approach and model our values in all your interactions with the public, team members, residents, and their families.
• Participates in the delivery of social, recreational, and therapeutic programs including group activities, outings, and special events.
