Adecco is currently recruiting for an Environmental Field Technician, Jr for a full-time permanent contract role with our client based in Ottawa, ON.
- Overtime
- No less than 40 per week
- Day shift : 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00pm ( typically)
- Monday to Friday
- On call Weekends as needed
The Environmental Field Technician, Jr will have the following responsibilities :
Completion of field work related to :Asbestos / designated substance surveysDaily air monitoringMould investigationsIndoor air quality assessmentsContaminated site investigationsSampling and collection of field data including interviewing of third parties, compilation of field notes and photographsReport to multiple project managersPreparation of technical reportsPosition will require local travel within Eastern Ontario. Vehicle is mandatoryThe Environmental Field Technician, Jr must meet the following mandatory requirements :
Applicant must be based in Ottawa.Applicant MUST have at least 1 year of field work experience specifically dealing with asbestos and / or mould sampling, air monitoring, etc.College or University Degree in Environmental FieldValid Ontario Driver's License RequiredExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time, while ensuring delivery within specific deadlines and budgetsCareer focused with a commitment to advance within a multidisciplinary organizationAbility to work well with others to meet a common goalAutoCAD / ARC GIS an assetWillingness to travel locally and conduct fieldworkExcellent interpersonal and writing skillsWrite / speak English required.Write / speak French not required, but considered an assetIf you are interested in the Environmental Field Technician, Jr role, please apply now by clicking "Apply now."
