Brandt Truck & Trailers is seeking an individual to fill the position of Heavy Duty Technician in our Nisku location for a night shift (Monday - Thursday 2 : 00PM-12 : 30AM).
This position will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Help Journeyman with CVIP inspections
- Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
- Ability to repair and adjust mechanical components
- Complete written and oral work orders
- Repair and adjust truck drive lines, engines and any other necessary mechanical components
- Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs
- Other mechanical repair work and duties as required

Required Skills
- Completion of College / vocational technical training
- 1+ years as a heavy duty mechanic apprentice, specifically with drive lines / air systems including schematics and diagnostics
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to communication both verbally and written
- Strong attention to detail
