CNC Machine Setup Operator
Location : North York, ON
Shift : Afternoon Shift (3 : 00 PM – 11 : 15 PM)
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a dependable CNC Machine Setup Operator to join a high-energy production team on the afternoon shift. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and running a variety of CNC-driven manufacturing equipment. You’ll work from technical drawings, ensure smooth machine operation, and help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production area.
What You’ll Be Doing
Set up and operate CNC production machinery based on job specifications
Review blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to perform precise part runs
Monitor equipment during operation and make necessary adjustments to correct defects or irregularities
Perform basic machine upkeep to maintain consistent performance
Maintain a clean, organized workstation while following safety standards
Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to meet daily production goals
Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment
Skills & Experience You Bring
Minimum 2 years’ experience in machine setup and operation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and documentation
Solid mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and maintain productivity under time-sensitive conditions
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machine issues
Effective communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
Willingness to work overtime or adjusted hours as needed
