Your new roleYou will be responsible for ensuring that robust project control routines, systems, and processes are meticulously implemented to monitor your project area status and ensurepliance with theernance model. You will create and maintainprehensive project control systems that meticulously track your project area in terms of costs and schedule. You will play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing your project area costs, categorized by discipline, work breakdown structure, and work packages, ensuring that trends are identified and addressed promptly. You will oversee cost control, planning, and scheduling, ensuring that all aspects of your project area are meticulously managed. You will collaborate closely with the area manager to establish project budgets, develop detailed work plans, and create precise schedules. You will ensure that all data ismunicated accurately and in a timely manner. Your role will be essential in driving your project area success and ensuring that all objectives are met with precision and efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed

• University degree in a relevant field, P.Eng. or OIQ certification preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• 7+ years in industrial processing or mining processing industry.
• Experience working on major investment projects.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of project management and project control concepts, including estimation, costs, cash flow, scheduling, and earned value management.
• Knowledge of processes and procedures related to mining and construction.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to develop and manage relationships with a diverse range of professionals in a mining and construction environment.
