Purchasing Co-op

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough segment research to identify potential suppliers, analyze industry trends, and assess market dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions that will feed into the Purchasing Strategy.
• Analyze pricing models, total cost of ownership, and value propositions to determine the most cost-effective purchasing solutions without compromising quality or service levels. Prepare reports and / or communication regarding outcome.
• Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to analyze and determine purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve business model efficiency.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimization through data-driven analysis and benchmarking best practices.
• Build & maintain strong professional relationships with the supply base & internal stakeholders.
• Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.
