Job Title : Electrical Technician

Location : Pickering, Ontario

Reports To : John Bonifacio

Job Type : Full-time

The Electrician Technician will work on installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment. Under the supervision of senior electricians, the Electrician Technician will ensure that electrical systems are functioning efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring according to blueprints, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintenance and Repairs : troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and components to ensure reliable operation.
• Routine Inspections : perform inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshooting : diagnose electrical faults and assist in repairs or system upgrades in collaboration with senior electricians.
• System Testing : conduct tests on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to verify functionality, accuracy, and safety.
• Safety Compliance : follow company safety guidelines, protocols, and Ontario regulations while working on electrical systems or performing maintenance.
• Documentation : keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards.
• Equipment Handling : use and maintain tools, machines, and equipment in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Collaboration : work closely with maintenance personnel, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of electrical systems within the plant or facility.
• Learning and Development : continuously improve electrical knowledge and skills, staying updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
