Vertex is growing, and we're looking for a Class 1 Operatorwith experience operating Semi-Vac's, Combo Vac's, Pressure Trucks and Hot Oiler's to join our Nisku, Alberta team. We're seeking a local candidate from the Nisku area. Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all timesComply with Company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, Department of Transportation and hazardous materials / waste requirements and regulationsPerform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operationComplete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports and time sheetsFollow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rulesPerform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to SupervisorSafely observe all company operating guidelines and proceduresObserve all company environmental health and safety operating guidelinesCandidate Qualifications
Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex)Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean commercial drivers abstractMinimum of 1 year Class 1 driving experienceMinimum of 1 year within the oilfield experience1 - 2 years of experience operating Semi Vac's and Combo Vac's (preferred but willing to train)1 - 2 years of experience operating Pressure Trucks and Hot Oiler's (preferred but willing to train)ELD logbook experiencePossess H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO safety ticketsDemonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practicesAbility to work independently while managing time and productivityMust be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assignedIntegrity and reliability, willing to accept out of town work when applicable / necessaryAssets to Have
