Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant General Manager located in St Catharines / Niagara Falls region. The Assistant General Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities include assisting in financial management, inventory control, compliance with company standards, and developing strategies to improve both operations and customer satisfaction. Regular collaboration with team members and department heads to achieve organizational goals is also expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial management, inventory control, and reporting
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and management skills to supervise diverse teams and ensure smooth operations
• Experience in hospitality operations, guest services, and enhancing customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of brand compliance standards and operational regulations within the hotel industry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• HOST Certification an asset as well as familiarization with Choice Advantage PMS.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities
• Previous experience in hotel management and relevant certifications are advantageous
