Electrical Technician

We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Technician to be a vital part of our Electrical Assembly team.

This is a full-time role located at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario. Day shift Monday to Friday with some overtime.

Specific Responsibilities & Expectations

Electrical wiring of control panels and sub-plates in accordance with the electrical drawings

Installation and field wiring of controls panels into the overall system

All wiring to be done in accordance with CSA standards

Test / troubleshoot complex electrical circuits

Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment

General shop maintenance as required

Work with team members to continuously improve methods of building and wiring PVD equipment, with the goals being enhanced functionality and reduced cost

Ability to take initiative to stay on top of things, to allow work to flow smoothly in a busy work environment

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in electrical technician or equivalent
• Strong electrical aptitude with experience in electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• Resourceful with a proven ability to complete tasks
• Good work ethic with a positive attitude and desire to work as a team
• Work in a manner that garners respect from your peers and makes others around you better
