The Opportunity

Dillon’s Civil Infrastructure technical group is looking for a Junior Construction Observer in Windsor to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work in the field on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

As a Junior Construction Observer , you will assist our project managers on-site, ensuring that construction aligns with approved designs and specifications. Your key duties will include :

• Site Inspection : Conducting regular site inspections of municipal and land development projects.
• Documentation : Preparing detailed daily inspection reports, documenting work progress, site conditions, labor, and equipment usage.
• Quality Assurance : Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
• Coordination : Liaising with contractors, project managers, and municipal representatives to address site issues and report on progress.
• Safety Compliance : Observing and reporting on-site health and safety practices to ensure a secure working environment.
