Project Coordinator

• Read the technical and administrative specifications of the project to be executed;
  
• Acquire the necessary technical and administrative information from the persons involved during the submission;
  
• Obtain blueprints and specifications for construction and compare them to bid plans;
  
• Report changes to professionals and claim costs;
  
• Read and understand prime contract terms conditions and requirements to ensure compliance throughout project execution;
  
• Draft notices for disputes change orders and contractual claims as required
  
• Support the project cost accountant with budget tracking cost reporting and financial documentation;
  
• Obtain licenses and permits as needed for the execution of the work;
  
• Draft contracts and agreements negotiate terms and award them to subcontractors;
  
• Develop the prevention program requested for CNESST and monitor it on site;
  
• Establish the schedule (dates main stages of construction constraints methodology) and / or the critical path of the project and monitor it weekly;
  
• Inform the superintendent of the project and discuss with him and the director of the proposed methods;
  
• Place orders for critical materials negotiate prices and prepare contract documents in collaboration with the construction manager for subcontractors;
  
• Coordinate and participate in various meetings;
  
• Establish and maintain a professional and continuous positive rapport with the client etc.;
  
• Travel is to be expected.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in construction project coordination;
  
• Master of MS Office and MS Project software;
  
• Strong management negotiation communication and problem-solving skills;
  
• Shows initiative and leadership;
  
• Team Player;
  
• Must be able to work onsite daily;
  
• Must be eligible and able to obtain a Federal Security Clearance.
