Job Location

Location: Laval, Quebec, Canada

Salary: CA$75,000 - CA$95,000

Responsibilities

• Validate T&C for revenue contracts; set-up revenue contracts and financial projects in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); coordination of invoicing; preparation of government claims
• Participate in forecasting and budgeting process
• Participate in month-end processes
• Active participation in year-end audit process
• Validation and documentation of internal controls, improvements implementation
• Be involved in streamlining and improving processes
• Execute electronic funds transfer (EFT) runs and wire payments as per the schedule (back-up role)
• Prepare and remit sales taxes (back-up role)
• Other ad-hoc tasks
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• University Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Professional accounting designation or in the process of obtaining it (CPA)
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Netsuite (an important asset)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup)
• Documentation of process experience
