Base schedule is Monday to Friday but must be available to travel for rotational field work around the world.
Responsibilities of the Position
- Maintain the company aircraft at the main base and at field locations;
- Carry out maintenance tasks as directed in accordance with the Maintenance Policy Manual and Transport Canada regulations, within the scope of licence, capabilities, and authority;
- Consult with the Maintenance Manager(s) to identify aircraft, shop and field maintenance issues and to discuss maintenance requirements and problems;
- Assist as required, to ensure the timely completion of company, customer and regulatory audits; and,
- Ensure a safe working environment while maintaining a positive attitude toward personal and professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with an “M1” licence;Experience on C208 and DHC-6 aircraft a definite asset;Knowledgeable understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations;Willingness to travel on short notice for periods of up to eight weeks;Valid passport and driver's licence; andAbility to obtain Transport Canada restricted area pass.Benefits
