Sr. Financial Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in driving financial insights and supporting decision-making across multiple divisions and business units. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is skilled at utilizing advanced financial tools to deliver results.

Responsibilities :

• Perform detailed financial analysis and reporting across various divisions and joint ventures.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Excel, Vena, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with divisional finance teams to streamline financial reporting and ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide actionable recommendations to senior management based on financial data and trends.
• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for multiple departments and businesses.
• Assist with corporate tax planning, compliance, and audit processes.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in special projects and conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
• Working towards CPA or already has CPA Designation is a MUST.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
• Proficiency in business systems, CRM tools, and Crystal Reports.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ability to perform ad-hoc financial reporting and deliver insights effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate across teams and present findings.
• Experience in corporate tax compliance and audit support is preferred.
