As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play an integral role in orchestrating the movement of materials and products to keep our operations running smoothly.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our General Manager to ensure the streamlined execution of daily operations. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be pivotal in maintaining our logistics processes and optimizing our warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Report to the General Manager, providing updates and coordinating logistics efforts.

Manage and oversee the daily duties of Forklift Operators, ensuring smooth execution of tasks.

Conduct daily site visits to ensure adherence to processes and procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges as they arise, reporting unresolved issues to the General Manager.

Act as a liaison between Administration, General Manager, and Operators to facilitate effective communication.

Collect and organize paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records.

Review and validate information in the WMS system, addressing and rectifying any discrepancies.

Assist in training operators in new practices and motorized procedures.

Operate powered forklift equipment for various tasks such as unloading, moving, stacking, and loading products.

Conduct regular physical inventories and gather inventory data as required.

Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment before use, ensuring safety compliance.

Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse area, including general maintenance and organization.

Handle medium to heavy physical demands, including lifting (50-100 lbs).

Prioritize safety by promptly identifying and reporting potential hazards.

Adhere to ANC Modular Inc Ontario Health and Safety Association, and MSDS safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in logistics or warehouse coordination.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in operating forklift equipment and related tools.

Ability to conduct physical inventories and manage paperwork.

Physical endurance for medium to heavy lifting.

Commitment to safety protocols and standards.
