About Our Client :
Our client is seeking a professional Accountant, Corporate Reporting with minimum 1 year audit experience with ideally, a real estate background.
Responsibilities
- Manage bank and GL account reconciliations
- Assist with month end close and reporting deliverables
- Complete monthly journal entries, such as reclassifications, prepaid / amortization entries, and accruals
- Post journal entries to ensure all cash transactions are recorded, such as bank fees, internal transfers, vendor payments, etc.
- Support Senior Accountants, Managers and Directors with requests for information from auditor
- Manage wires for approval by senior management
- Manage journal entries for newly acquired properties
- Support with audit requests preparing supporting work papers as requested
- Participate in special projects and outstanding duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year audit experience with real estate background (ideal)Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA designation (ideal)Strong communication skills- both oral and writtenDetail oriented, professional and organizedExcellent business acumen
