Personal Injury Legal Assistant

Salary: Up to $65K

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal administrative support to various lawyers and legal professionals across the firm as a floater
• Draft, format, and prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents related to personal injury litigation
• Open and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and deadline tracking
• Manage court filings, document production, and e-filing as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
• Adapt quickly to different working styles and needs within the firm

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in personal injury litigation
• Familiarity with legal software such as Primafact and Filevine is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of the litigation process and personal injury file management
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• A proactive, flexible team player who’s comfortable supporting various professionals as needed
