The Team

The newly established Fire Services team at BC Wildfire Service brings together 12 skilled professionals - including a superintendent project coordinator administrative support logistics officers and structure protection specialists - united by a shared mission : safeguarding people and property from wildfire risks. Operating virtually across the province we collaborate closely with diverse partners to deliver innovative solutions. The Role

The Logistics Officer plays a key role in ensuring smooth logistics throughout the wildfire response season. This position supports asset management and coordinates structure protection deployment across six fire centres. As part of a growing provincial program youll have the opportunity to refine processes and build valuable expertise in logistics and emergency operations.

Qualifications :

Education and Experience Requirements

• Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
• Experience creating and managing spreadsheets and working with standard computer applications (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence.

About this Position :

This position is located in Kamloops.
