What you will do :
Candidates are required for clinical practicum courses in Community and Population Health Promotion, Young Families Health including Pediatrics and School Health and Acute Medical Surgical nursing in the Collaborative University of New Brunswick-Humber Bachelor of Nursing, Humber College Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Practical Nursing, and Personal Support Worker programs within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness. Successful candidates will supervise and instruct nursing students working with individuals, groups and communities who are experiencing clinical health challenges and / or who have health and wellness promotion needs. Successful candidates will be team players who are expected to play an active role in the following areas : ensuring student awareness of course objectives, providing a supportive learning environment, effectively using available resources; carrying out regularly scheduled instruction in the assigned clinical practice setting; using effective teaching and learning strategies and evaluation techniques; assuming responsibility for the overall assessment of student’s clinical practice performance ability
