Junior Accountant

We’re looking for candidates who are pursuing the CPA designation, enjoy working as part of a team, are committed to learning, are innovative problem solvers, and are passionate about accounting.

Feltham & Associates, Chartered Professional Accountants offer a full range of services, including Accounting, Audit, Management Advisory, Computerized Accounting System Consulting, Business Plans and Proposals, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Forensic Accounting, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Reorganizations and more.

Summary Of Job Responsibilities

Preparation of working papers (Microsoft Excel) to substantiate account balances, summaries of transactions, etc. in relation to year‑end files for Audit, Review and Compilation engagements.
Providing accounting support for clients including payables, receivables, payroll, inventory management, bank and credit card reconciliations, etc. utilizing various accounting software packages.
Preparation of personal income tax returns.
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications, Skills, And Attributes

Strong organizational skills with ability to multi‑task, ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills including written and verbal, and the ability to pivot to client preferred method.

Collaborative mindset, with a desire to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Interest in continually acquiring new skills, including an active pursuit of the CPA designation.

Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook; QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online.
