Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a professional and safety‑focused Class 1 Driver for a part‑time, temporary position based in Bathurst, NB. Hours will begin at a minimum of 20 hours per week and may fluctuate based on freight volume.

What You’ll Do

• Perform scheduled pick‑ups and deliveries within assigned routes during shift hours.
• Safely operate Class 1 tractor‑trailer units for local deliveries in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring accuracy and care in handling.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic and paper logs.
• Use handheld scanners and complete all required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and promptly report maintenance needs.
