Contract, Material Handler
Key Job Elements :
- Maintain safe work practices at Company Customer Support & Training Centre (CSTC)
- Operate forklift to execute material and other commodities requirements (including but not limited to, identification, receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, kitting and material handling) for workshop repair, maintenance, modifications, retrofits and assembly operations
- Process material transactions in the Oracle Maintenance Management System accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate and provide advice, guidance and technical assistance to internal and external customers on LAV vehicle material requirement issues and repair procedures.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of various management and log reports and provide regular communication and monitor parts usage, shipping / receiving accuracies / discrepancies, shop floor inventory requirements, material availability and statusProvide and support the material needs of work shop personnel to meet schedule requirements and move material to intended end userAssist in inventory, disposition and disposal of scrap and discrepant materialMove and control parts and material in accordance with the Canadian Forces and Company guidelinesMaintain care and control of Government Property in accordance with Company processes and proceduresAssist in inventory audits or stock checks as requestedQualifications
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated organizational, analytical and decision making skills1-2 years of related experience1-2 years of experience and proficient with ERP / MRP software usage (Oracle preferred)MS Office / Excel / Outlook proficiencyAble to be ITAR / CGRP compliant or registeredValid driver’s licenseAble to drive a Fork TruckAble to complete HAZMAT trainingStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to travel (10% U.S. & International, 10% Canadian) and possess / able to acquire and maintain a valid passportSummary
