The Account Coordinator reports directly to the Account Strategist and / or Account Manager and acts as an internal liaison between interns and Account Strategists & Managers. The primary focus of the Account Coordinator is to execute, monitor, optimize and report on campaigns to ensure we are meeting and exceeding the goals of each campaign for our clients.ResponsibilitiesThe Account Coordinator will be responsible for three major groups of activities : Ad OperationsBuild and monitor search, social, native & programmatic campaignsCommunicate and coordinate media buys with vendorsTraffic creative & execute tagging with vendors and internal team membersEffectively manage campaign details to ensure plans launch on time and deliver on budgetWork effectively and efficiently with Google campaign management tools & ad serving softwareReporting & OptimizationBuild and deliver accurate campaign progress & final reports, analysis & recommendationsManage pacing and optimization of both self-serve and vendor placements to meet goals & KPIsCommunicate insights and recommendations from reports to strategists & managersDay-to-Day OperationsIndependently and proactively manage tasks and responsibilities from start to finish by deadlinesAssume responsibility for helping strategists & managers solve client problemsCopy writing for search, social & native ad placementsResearch and share new information about digital advertising & SEM techniques at the direction of strategists, managers & directorsComplete quality, error-free work according to specificationsOther administrative duties as required by team membersGrowth & Areas of FocusAbility to think strategically and contribute to the overall media planning processStrategic management and training of internsAnalysis of progress & final reports to share with clientsCommunicate with clients on reports, ad copies & campaign detailsApproach and volunteer for projects & assignments with enthusiasmProactively seek out and share new information and research about digital advertising & SEM techniques as well as business best practicesEssential SkillsAn inquisitive nature and a strong drive to expand learning on Internet marketing, online media buying and search marketing skillsQuantitative & analytical skills to work with data and uncover trendsStrong desire to delight clients with exceptional interpersonal & client relation skillsCapable, no-nonsense team playerExcellent organizational, time and self-management skillsSelf-guided and independentImpeccable attention to detail, precise execution and remarkable follow upFlexible; able to quickly switch focus and easily adapt to changeAdvanced proficiency with MS office applications (especially Excel)Strong oral and written communications skillsSolution oriented customer service skillsUnderstanding of marketing principles and ability to think strategicallyReports to : Account Strategist and / or ManagerYour cover letter and resume must highlight the specific qualifications you have that would make you a great fit for this position.
