About the Role

The Shipping Admin Clerk (Scale Attendant) ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of internal truck traffic within the plant. The role combines traffic coordination, weight verification, and administrative record‑keeping to support uninterrupted plant operations. By managing the weigh scale process and related documentation, the position safeguards compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in shipping activities.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Ensure safe and efficient flow of truck traffic within the plant by coordinating movements via radio / phone, minimizing delays and safety risks.
• Achieve accurate load tracking by weighing trucks in / out and maintaining precise digital records in spreadsheets.
• Contribute to overall plant productivity by handling administrative duties that kept daily shipping operations running smoothly.
• Produce reliable shipping and weight reports, enabling managers to make informed operational decisions.
• Maintain error‑free data entry and documentation, strengthening compliance and record‑keeping standards.
• Support operational efficiency by providing real‑time communication with bulkloaders to reduce bottlenecks and improve loading turnaround.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.
