The Public Health Improvement Practitioner post is a community based position within the Mid & Upper Nithsdale Home Team which works to improve the health and wellbeing of the local population. The practitioner is responsive to the needs, interests and circumstances of local people in the local community, helping individuals and communities to have more control over decisions that affect them and promoting health equity, equality and justice.

This post will involve home visits in remote and rural areas. A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence, consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged. Please detail how you would facilitate travel to clinics and home visits in your application.
